We have a number of judges from Missouri and Illinois Wineries and Wine Related Businesses.
This year, we have 23 awards in 13 categories with 2 new categories.
Winemaker of the Year-This award will be given to the individual whose top 6 scoring wines have the highest average score among all participants. You must enter at least 6 wines to qualify for this award.
Fruit/Grape Wine Kit-This award is for wines enteried using Island Mist, Orchard Breezin and similar type wine kits.

At the Pacific Rim International wine competition Stone HIll Winery Concord and St. James Winery Country Red and Strawberry earned Best of Class Gold medal honors. Solid Gold went to Augusta Winery 2008 Seyval, St. James Winery Velvet White and 2008 Vintner’s Select Vignoles, Stone Hill Winery 2006 Norton and 2008 Vignoles and Blumenhof Winery 2008 Valvin Muscat. In New York at the Finger Lakes International wine competition Baltimore Bend Winery 2005 Chambourcin and St. James Winery 2005 Cynthiana won Gold. In California at the Riverside International wine competition three Missouri wineries earned elite Chairman’s Award Gold medals: Augusta Winery for their 2008 Vidal, St. James Winery for their 2008 Vintner’s Select Vignoles, and Stone Hill Winery for their 2008 Traminette.
