We would like to know why you make wine?


	I can experiment with creating new wines
	It is the challenge of making wine
	I don’t have a life
	I drink more wine than I can afford to buy
	I like the bragging rights that come with making my own wine
	I can make it cheaper than I can buy it
	I think I can make better wine than I can purchase
	I think it is fun to make my own wine (and share it)

We have a number of judges from Missouri and Illinois Wineries and Wine Related Businesses.

This year, we have 23 awards in 13 categories with 2 new categories.

Winemaker of the Year-This award will be given to the individual whose top 6 scoring wines have the highest average score among all participants. You must enter at least 6 wines to qualify for this award.

Fruit/Grape Wine Kit-This award is for wines enteried using Island Mist, Orchard Breezin and similar type wine kits.
