Thanks to our judges and especially the Missour Valley Wine Society Members for helping and making this competition a success. Without all of you, it would not have turned out as great as it did.
We ended up with 249 entries. Exceeded my expectations.
We had a total of 168 medals and awards this year. Shows that there was a lot of quality wines submitted.
For those Missouri Valley Wine Society Members, I will handing out the medals and awards at our March meeting.
Well, we hope next year's competition is bigger and better than this year's competition. I know this year's competition was bigger and better than last year's.
Again, thanks to all of you.

I have decided to open the blog section of our website. Please let me know what you think.
If you are visiting our website to access the wine competition brochure, I encourage you to become a registered user. I will be providing updates on the wine competition through this blog.
The wine competition is well under way. Entry forms should be coming in within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Our goal this year is 250 wines.
To date, we have 9 gift certificates covering all 9 prize categories. I still have two more gift certificates coming.
We are going to create two new prize categories; Most Silvers and Most Bronzes.
That will give us 11 prize categories.
